Warm, compact, unpretentious place, much frequented by the older crowd and those who like their flesh in a wrinkly wrapper! The staff were friendly and helpful when I had a non-sauna realted question. A pleasant enough place to relax, but don't expect modern swish decor, Bright 'n' Beautiful is stuck in a 1962 time warp.

Part 1) Dear Pete, Thank you for your email regarding your visit to The Brighton Oasis Sauna on the lunchtime of 14 February 2005. In this response I will endeavour to address your complaints point by point. Firstly I am sorry to hear that the sauna was not busy during your visit. As I’m sure you can appreciate, we are not in control of the number of visitors we receive at any given period. Like any other sauna, we will have quiet times and busy times. Monday daytimes are always our quietest period, following as it does our busiest period, which is of course the weekend. The date in question, 14 February, was of course Valentines Day. From our past experience we had anticipated that this would be a quiet day for the sauna, and as such chose this day to carry out some routine maintenance.

Someone's said earlier in his critique that some investment is needed in this sauna. A whole load of investment is needed in this sauna. I can find nothing to recommend about it to anyone. The fittings are not just out of date but antiquated. Cleaning seems to be done with a solitary feather duster. My stay was brief(about 35 minutes) I've given it one star for the guy at reception who's very friendly and chatty nd didn't seem at all surprised that I was leaving so soon.

This place has great potential... an investors dream, shame this has not been exploited to the full. Decor is a bit dated and not much to get excited about the individual cubicles either. On the plus side, very friendly, no attitude or pretentiousness but this is probably due to the slightly older clientele. Lets face it, when you get past a certain age, if you need a fuck, you don't prance about the bush.
