As with the Miami and Philadelphia branches of this mini-chain of bathhouses, Club Providence is pretty dank and divey, and it's far less popular than Mega-Plex, which is the best choice of the two. Still, it is within walking distance to many downtown bars as well as three local college campuses (yes, occasional twinks and young muscle studs sometimes show up, especially on weekend nights). If you're into group action, check out the "tool shed" or sauna area. This is a low-attitude, relaxed scene, and it's clean and run by a friendly enough bunch of guys. Membership $40 for three months, $10 weekends, $5/day, rooms $13-$15, lockers $10. Mon half-price lockers, Tues leather buddy night, Wed half-price everything, Thurs half-price college students.
