I used to like this place, but no more. I'll never visit it again. There was only one staff member on duty, and he couldn't leave the counter [although he spent forever chatting to the boss and a couple of twinks in the lounge]. Anyway, that was the reason given for not checking and cleaning up the cubicles. There was no-one to do this at all! I pointed out that there was spunk on the floor of one of them, but an hour later, it was still there. And goodness knows what in the other cubicles, too. This is UNACCEPTABLE and should be reported. So - avoid this place until the owner decides to provide a proper service and not just use it as a cash cow to fund his ever-expanding empire.

I really like this place and the friendliness is exceptional. Just one point, which is major - it's bloody cold up in the extended semi-dark rooms on the top floor. Warm it up, guys!

Iimproved a lot since I first visited six years ago. Friendly welcome and now with two sets of stairs great fun to cruise around. A second top floor communal room has just opened. The jacuzzi is fun and people are not afraid to chat. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so I can try out the new patio, it looks good. Three different videos showing, so at least one should suit. Good sandwiches & snacks. Some people moan about closed steam room, but they open it when there are enough people. I arrived Sunday lunchtime & numbers went up & average age slightly lowered. It was buzzing when I left around eight.

I always think it is best to give these places a couple of chances before reviewing but here we go. The staff member was really quite rude and suspicious about why I wanted to come in – first visit and all that. I don’t think I looked like a terrorist!. Anyway facilities are as described. Not enough younger people in there, mainly 40’s and above but there was enough action to go round. Lots of signs everywhere saying what you could and could not do but most people ignored them. Overall OK, been to better been to worse.

It's the only sauna I have ever been in where no matter what time of the day or night you arrive, you have to ask them to turn the steam room and the sauna on. They sould be already on.

This venue is so very much better now that it has really been up graded, and is still in the process of being made even more acceptable. A really good bunch of guys running the place, and the lads who come to visit are a darn goood bunch as well. Lots of fun to be had, If you want it, it's here.

I really like this place. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Free internet access. Upstairs, I love the confusing duplicate staircases. It's what makes a great sauna: turn it into a maze! And the spacious loft darkroom, that is light enough to allow you to see who is feeling you up. Great. The only drawback is the small number of private rooms.

i visited the cottage in oct and was impressed really nice place clean friendly staff and facilities were ok ideal place for a theme sauna bar as it has a good mix of oung and old

Basically its a dump! But you have 50% chance of having some good sex there. All night opening at weekends.

The Cottage now has a jacuzzi and this has transformed the place from a pretty lacklustre venue to something worth going to now. Still not very busy on most weekday nights (except Wednesdays, when those having visited the previous weekend can get in for a fiver)but good at other times and you can get a free pasout as well. One criticism: turn the steam room on without having to be asked!

Older Sauna recently modernised with a great new TV/DVD Lounge - good facilities including Sauna - steam room - Fettish area with sling - private cabins - Loft play area with sling. internet access.

Free soft drinks and food, very welcome open place, with some great guys.
