$30 FOR A MEMBERSHIP PLUS AN ADDITIONAL $17 FOR A LOCKER OR $22 FOR A ROOM? NO WONDER THERE AREN'T ANY HOT YOUNG GUYS AT THE DENVER SWIM CLUB, THEY CAN'T AFFORD IT.
Compare the DSC's outrageous $30 membership fee to the Cadillac of baths, Steamworks which is $6 or Midtowne Spa which is $3.
I've visited on a Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, which are the most busy periods and found the majority of clients are mid 30's and up. Granted they're decent looking guys but YOU WILL NOT FIND MANY HOT COLLEGE AGE GUYS HERE. The lack of hot guys and insane membership price earns this place two stars.
On the plus side the DSC has both an indoor and sizable outdoor pool. There's no dry sauna but the steamroom was very good because 1) it didn't smell and 2) it actually maintained a consistent temperature. I particularly enjoyed the numerous "loft" spaces where one could climb up a ladder to get some privacy even if you don't have a room. However I found a couple of the spaces to be a tad over illuminated (but just a few).
Condoms were plentiful and the staff was friendly.

True to its name, this 24-hour club offers two swimming pools (one indoors and a seasonal one outdoors), and it also features nude sunbathing, a frisky steamroom, a sling room, another new triple room with sling, a hot tub and two separate video-viewing areas. There are little cubicles with benches and glory holes cut between the walls. The staff keeps this place pretty clean and is very good about distributing condoms and lube. DSC isn't cheap if you're just visiting one time, when you factor in the $25 membership, $17 lockers and $ 22 private rooms; however, if you're visiting for the first time, visit the Web site and you'll find a printable coupon good for a private room. Although you usually get some hotties, don't go expecting to see buffed-out Adonis-type boys, and you won't be disappointed. You'll often find men professing to be straight (yeah, straight to their knees!). Be sure to check out the steamroom for hot action. You'll find a friendly, fun crowd -- it's pretty eclectic, tending toward younger late on weekend nights. Note that on Mondays, lockers are half-price from 6 p.m. to midnight. The club is about a 10-minute drive east of downtown.
