For a spa so convenient to gay West Hollywood, the clientele is pretty scary, and often it's pretty quiet in here. This is a rundown facility; sticky floors, stinky environment, and prehistoric accommodations. It's really a shame this place doesn't improve. Some of the cutest guys in the city live within walking distance and would flock to a well-attended, well-maintained bathhouse in the neighborhood.
Mondays (bears half price), Wednesday (Latin) and Thursday (muscle) nights are often the best. Melrose also draws a good after-work crowd. Sunday is jockstrap day, with a free buffet from 4 p.m. Lockers $14-$16 or $5 for under-24s, rooms $24-$26.
