This renovated bathhouse five miles north of downtown, just off Exit 35 or Interstate 35, has an outdoor hot tub, steamroom, gym, sundeck and den with sling (but no longer the maze it once boasted). Expect to find a mix of men of color and white guys, with the age skewing toward 40-plus. The cruisiest area is the maze. Austin's a beautiful city with a great gay scene, but comparatively few guys frequent the bathhouse. Even though management has worked hard to fix the place up, crowds still tend to be spotty most of the time. Still, if you need to get some while in Austin, this is a decent enough place. Rooms $22-27, dens $25-27, lockers $15. Half-price rooms Mondays and Wednesdays, half-price lockers Tuesdays and Thursdays. Membership $20; one-time use $8.
