Midtowne Spa has received some much-needed renovations in recent years but still has frequent maintenance and hygiene issues. It's a raunchy bathhouse with an outdoor garden patio for tanning, a steamroom modeled after a dark cave with numerous caverns to explore and an indoor heated pool. Many special rooms are available. In addition to a maze, there is one large playroom and a smaller one with bunk bed and sling. Saturday nights usually see great group action in the bunkroom. Monday nights are also busy. The clientele tends to be more Latino and African-American, and quite a few over-50 men hang out here. Nudity is allowed. Rooms $22-$27, den $43-$45, lockers $17.
