A Palm Springs-style clothing-optional resort in the very heart of West Hollywood, San Vicente can be intensely cruisey depending on the makeup of the clientele, and especially late in the evenings, after the neighborhood's many bars have closed. The 20 rooms have pleasant, if not necessarily memorable, contemporary furnishings, but the real charms lie in the tropical grounds and pool, around which hunky nude guys sunbathe much of the time. By West Hollywood standards, it's a good value, even if you're not here for serious cruising.
