A fine facility, the Club Dallas offers an attractive pool area, a big steamroom, a sprawling Jacuzzi, a large dry sauna and tanning beds. It also features an impressive workout facility that would put some regular gyms to shame, and it's rarely too busy to get in a really decent workout. The club is a real social hangout on the weekends, similar to an after-hours bar. This social aspect may be a little intimidating to anyone who wants to walk around silently and anonymously and just get to his business, but it's nice for those seeking a warm and friendly environment. Come with an appetite Saturdays and Sundays 1 p.m.-4 p.m. and enjoy a free barbecue. Membership is required, but a one-time membership is just $8, and $20 gets you a six-month pass. Half-price rooms Tues 4 p.m.-midnight, half price lockers Wed 4 p.m.-midnight, lockers $10 weekdays 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Otherwise rooms $20-24, lockers $15.
